July has been better than we could have expected for tuna fishing. Our captains have been filling the icebox with yellowfin almost every offshore fishing trip. 

 

Capt. Willy B holds the #1 spot for the biggest Yellowfin Tuna this month which weighed in right at 200 pounds. He also brought in our second biggest weighing in at 156 pounds. 

Capt. Ashton spent his first weekend in the Captain's seat with Super Strike Charters and did not disappoint! He reeled in an impressive yellowfin weighing 140 pounds. 

While Capt. Bob K has been having a record season of reeling in limits of red snapper nearly every trip, he also has had success with yellowfin tuna. He reeled in a nice 105 pound yellowfin. 

 

Summer is such a great time to navigate into the deep blue water of the Gulf of Mexico and enjoy fun in the sun. It's even better when the fish are biting like they have been! We're looking forward to the last few weeks of summer.
