Captains
Capt. William Bradford
Known as Capt. Willy B, William Bradford has been with Super Strike Charters since 2010. Capt. Willy captains our 37Ft. Freeman with quad 300 H.P. Yamahas. Capt. Willy specializes in Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Swordfish, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, and Amberjack.
Capt. Willy's 2024 Freeman has:
- Starlink Internet
- All the latest electronics from Simrad including Radar, Chartplotter with 3D bottom, Sirius, and fish finder.
- Quad 300 Yamahas. (Cruise Speed up to 50 mph if weather allows.
- Giant Fish Coffin for your catch.
- Esea Rider Bean bags for comfort.

Capt. Bob Kenney
Capt. Bob Kenney has been fishing commercially and recreationally for the past 30 years. He specializes in offshore fishing targeting Yellowfin Tuna, Swordfish, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi. He also targets Red Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, and Amberjack when in season.
Capt. Bob captains runs our 2023-37ft. Freeman powered with quad-300 H.P. Yamahas. This boat is fast and gets you out to areas such as the Mississippi Canyon and Viosca Knoll quickly and comfortably.

Capt. Scott King
Captain Scott has been fishing the Gulf Coast of La. for the past 35 years. He has been fishing with Super Strike Charters since 2012. Capt. Scott specializes in Offshore Fishing for all of the Pelagic and Reef Fish Species. While Offshore, Capt. Scott runs one our 37ft. Freeman Catamarans with quad 300 HP Yamaha Outboards.
All of our boats have all of the latest technology including weather radar, fish finders, depth sounders, AIS, and 3D bottom with shading relief.

Inshore and Coastal Fishing Boats
Capt. Matt Leland
Capt. Matt has been fishing Venice for about 20 yrs. For Inshore charters he runs a 24ft. Bluewave powered with a 350 HP. Mercury. The boat is also equipped with all the latest electronics from Simrad, including Sirius weather, radar, fish finder, and AIS. The main target inshore is Redfish (Bulls and Slots), Speckled Trout, Flounder.
He also offers coastal trips for Red Snapper (Season Opens on April 15th, 2024 - Close date is not set yet) Triple-Tail (Seasonal), and Cobia (Seasonal). The cost is base price- plus fuel for a Coastal trip and it is weather dependent.
Snapper limits in state waters are 4 per person.

Capt. Jordan Roque
Capt. Jordan has been hunting and fishing his entire life. He is a full time inshore Captain down in Venice, Louisiana. He runs a 24ft Bluewave powered by a 300 H.P. Yamaha. Capt. Jordan's specialty is targeting Redfish, Flounder, and Speckled Trout.
He also offers coastal trips for Red Snapper which opens on April 15th, 2024 - no close date yet. Triple-Tail (Seasonal), and Cobia (Seasonal). The cost is base price- plus fuel for a Coastal trip and it is weather dependent.
Snapper Season is 7 days a week this year in State Waters with a limit of 4 Red snapper per person.

Capt. Damon McKnight
Capt. Damon started Super Strike Charters LLC in 1998 and has been fishing and hunting the Venice area since the late 80’s. He runs a 25ft. Yellowfin with a 400 HP Mercury V10. The boat is equipped with all the latest electronics, including weather, radar, AIS, and sonar. There is a huge fish box to put your catch in to keep cold.
He mainly targets redfish and speckled trout throughout the year but there is always a mix of flounder, sheepshead, and black drum most days.
Along the coastal waters we can target Red Snapper and Triple Tail. Red Snapper season re-opens in 2026, dates still to be determined. The limit is 4 per person 16” or larger. On the calmest of days it is also possible to target Cobia and Triple Tail as well. The cost to fish the coastal waters for these species does not include fuel so that is added to the base price. Weather is definitely a factor for being able to fish open water so that will be a determining factor the morning of your charter.
